MARK FAST has given us a preview of his new Topshop collaboration. The knitwear range reflects the aesthetic of Fast’s mainline range with plenty of the designer’s trademark laddered panelling.
Canadian-born Fast has revealed his new collaboration was inspired by sleek exotic birds, paying particular attention to their movement and the shimmer of their wings. The collection comprises four fitted knit dresses with laddered panelling and a high waisted mini skirt.
Mark Fast is one of many designer collaborations set up by Topshop with Christopher Kane, Louise Goldin and Richard Nicoll all having sold their wares in the high street store. The young designer has fast become renowned for his artfully laddered bodycon knit dresses. The collaboration sees the second joint venture for the Central Saint Martins graduate – Fast recently announced plans to collaborate with Italian fashion house Pinko.
Fast’s new Topshop collection is due to land in stores on July 7.

Cecilia Hammarborg’s new collection “Black River Falls” will launch at London Fashion Week as part of Topshop’s new EDIT designer range for Autumn/Winter 09-10.
You can beat the crowds by purchasing Hammarborg’s collection from Swanfield on Tour, her cooperative pop-up boutique.
“Made in London, the ultimate fusion of classic tailoring and carefully constructed shapes, combined with modern design detailing using quality Italian fabrics; glamour and luxury are mixed to perfection with functionality.
A visual paradox is illustrated where shapes are voluminous and floaty, while sculpted detailing from Victorian menswear accentuates a flattering form in pointed fish tail cuts. Military button details are also offset with feminine puffed sleeves and sharply waisted cuts with full skirts.
Black River Falls by Cecilia Hammarborg proves outerwear can be just as titillating as what lies beneath.”
Cecilia Hammarborg’s covetable range of accessories, including silk scarves with logo gunbird print, can also be found at the new YMC store on Poland Street, and Beyond The Valley off Carnaby St. For those not in that part of London town, other stockists include No-One Boutique in Shoreditch. Collection also available from www.ceciliahammarborg.com

The new Topshop collection designed by Kate Moss. The line continues to reflect the model’s bohemian, chic style – and she stars in this fantastic ad campaign photographed by Mert and Marcus.
The collection ranges from a folk inspiration to tea dresses, snakeskin print trousers and little black dresses studded with stones. The aim was to infuse the line with a rock n roll feel, and to continue including fantastic prints from Liberty´s vintage archives, which were reinterpreted by Kate herself.
This season´s iconic dresses include Lilabell, which was created in honour of Kates daughter, and camisole dresses, her personal favourite. Take a look at the collection…
