Princesse Tam-Tam

 princesse-tam-tam-winter2009-solve1.jpg

For the lingerie brand Princesse Tam-Tam, autumn-winter 2009/10 will be fresh and cheerful. To photograph its collection, Princesse Tam-Tam has called on fashion photographer Solve Sundsbo.
A Norwegian photographer accustomed to fashion magazines, Solve Sundsbo has brought a breath of fresh air to the winter collections of the lingerie label. The theme is ‘Warhol me!’, which highlights colour and the customization of the range.

Taken in wide angle, the images play with the natural and the sophisticated with models who appear to be frozen in their scene. Otherwise features are left to speak for themselves: bright colours, surprising leopard prints and lace.

Corinne Day

{Comments 0}

corrine-day-kate-moss-youngCorinne Day’s shots of the young Kate Moss for the cover of The Face magazine marked the beginning of an exemplary career. Kate is still one of today’s most recognised faces. However, most people are unaware of Corinne Day’s battle against a brain tumour, one which she has been fighting for over ten years. Friends of the fashion photographer are now desperately trying to raise money for her cause, by selling limited edition Kate Moss prints.Over the past ten years, all treatment methods have been unsuccessful. Last year Corinne was no longer able to work, and her financial situation is rather dire due to the cost of treatment. Her last resort is treatment at a specialist clinic in Arizona, otherwise she has little chance of surviving the cancer. And of course, the treatment is very pricy, a total of £100,000 has to be raised over the next few weeks.The charity’s first motif was sold out in just a few days, but now a black and white print of Kate Moss (realised for DUTCH magazine in 2001) is available for £100 each (5 x &, edition: 500).The only condition: the print is exclusively available for personal use and may not be sold on. The photo is not allowed to be sold through internet auctions or commercial galleries in the next three years, until 31 July 2012.If you are interested in a print, send an email to emily@premiermodelmanagement.com. You are welcome to donate more than the official price tag. Additional limited edition prints will be available in September, October, December and at Christmas.source : http://www.gosee.us/

Korea is the “new Japan”, with edgy multi-brand stores and magazines. Vogue Korea ‘Black Beauties’ follow the Italian Vogue with a cover featuring Chanel Iman in Burberry, for her very first solo Vogue cover. She is, by the way, half-Korean. The Numero cover features Freja Beha Eriksen, also wearing Burberry.

Marc as Andy

Art meets Fashion meets Art! The new Interview  magazine is featuring Marc Jacobs wearing Andy Warhol’s iconic wig on its cover. Very striking. The late “Pop Art priest” and the prolific fashion designer both share a fascination for pop culture that is at the core of the contents of Interview, which was created by Andy Warhol in the late sixties.

This is the second issue of Interview under the editorial and creative direction by Fabien Baron. Check this out.
