Last night was the official launch party for Sonia Rykiel for H&M in Paris at The Grand Palais. Between vintage lingeries, mini Eiffel Tower, ballons, magic forest, bucket of champagne…Sonia Rykiel was the most extravagant party to be at in Paris! A total Parisian magical and fairy tail world for a total of 2,000 guests, including celebrities such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Kate Bosworth, Emanuelle Béart and Eva Herzigova. “I think it is very Sonia Rykiel to have her presentation with H&M here. She is so Paris, and I don’t think she could have had it anywhere else.” stated Eva Herzigova last night.

WWD reports that Zac Posen is launching a new lower-priced fashion line called Z Spoke, to launch exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue next Spring. Z Spoke is gonna give Marc by Marc Jacobs a run for his money. I’m loving the wide belted looks showcased in the two dresses above.

“It’s not Zac-for-less, it’s not the little sister collection at all,” says Posen. “The dresses — that’s something I can do with my eyes closed. A palette of neutrals with ample pops of kelly green, pink and red gives the clothes a retro vibe, or an “urban hipster quality” as Posen puts it, adding he could see these styles on a Lower East Side girl.
