Princesse Tam-Tam

For the lingerie brand Princesse Tam-Tam, autumn-winter 2009/10 will be fresh and cheerful. To photograph its collection, Princesse Tam-Tam has called on fashion photographer Solve Sundsbo.
A Norwegian photographer accustomed to fashion magazines, Solve Sundsbo has brought a breath of fresh air to the winter collections of the lingerie label. The theme is ‘Warhol me!’, which highlights colour and the customization of the range.

Taken in wide angle, the images play with the natural and the sophisticated with models who appear to be frozen in their scene. Otherwise features are left to speak for themselves: bright colours, surprising leopard prints and lace.

Fleet Ilya

Fleet Ilya has become renowned for employing cleverly utilitarian and creative concepts to produce high quality leather goods.  It is the combined creative effort of Ilya Fleet and Reshna Sharma. for this autumn winter, The skeletal theme is carried over into a selection of bags and clutches.  Rendered in soft black leather and brass, these bags conjure up the feeling of being armoured while remaining extremely feminine in their appeal.  Ilya Fleet upholds his constructivist priority with this collection: all detailing is kept to a minimum in order to emphasize the strong sculptural sensibility of his designs, and even the most extravagant items are cleverly functional and extremely user friendly.

Inside Proenza Schouler’s A Magazine

A MAGAZINE is a biannual publication, exploring the creative sphere of a selected designer in each issue. We invite a guest curator – an international fashion designer, group or house – to develop innovative, personalised content that expresses their aesthetic and cultural values.
Each issue celebrates this designer’s ethos: their people, their passion, their stories, emotions, fascinations, spontaneity and authenticity. As such A MAGAZINE exists as an entirely dynamic title – a cultural statement for individuality in an increasingly homogenous industry.

For the new issue Proenza Schouler designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough guest-edited the latest issue of A Magazine.
The theme is “America” because, the design duo noticed, they are the first Americans to guest-edit an issue. The end result is a mix of American landscapes, art, and fashion. See some images from the issue in the slideshow.
