On 30 April, Christian Hiltawsky will open his new gallery space, in the heart of Berlin Mitte, with photographs by Frank Horvat (*1928), who played an important role in the history of fashion photography. The gallerist has already proven his knowledge of photography art with many years of experience as the head of the aplanat galerie für fotografie in Hamburg.

The private view is on 30 April from 7pm onwards. Dr. Matthias Harder, Curator of the Helmut Newton Trust, will be giving a talk, attended by the photographer himself. On 1 May at 7pm, there will be a reading and slide show, by Ingrid Mylo and Frank Horvat to introduce the “Masken und Mandarinen” (masks and mandarins) book project.
